Tushar S. Gokhale
Innovation has been a continuous thread throughout my career, complementing ERP consulting through engineering concepts, software development, research and practical problem solving.
Innovation has remained a consistent part of my professional life. Alongside consulting assignments, I have continuously explored original ideas in engineering, software and technology, driven by curiosity, structured experimentation and the desire to solve practical problems.
Rather than viewing innovation as isolated projects, I see it as a continuous process of observing problems, challenging assumptions and developing practical solutions that can be validated through prototypes, software or engineering concepts.
Many of my innovation initiatives originated from independent exploration outside my day-to-day professional responsibilities. Over the years I have developed original concepts covering energy systems, software, information management, digital authentication and productivity tools.
Several of these ideas progressed to provisional patent applications and detailed technical documentation. Although they did not ultimately become granted patents, they represent original work and continue to influence my approach to engineering and software development.
A broader collection of my innovation work, technical concepts and ongoing projects is available at:
One of my engineering concepts, "Direct Energy Conversion from Hydrocarbon Fuels Using Electromagnetic Waves", was published in TechTalk, KPIT's internal technology magazine.
The article was based on an original concept for which I had previously filed a provisional patent application before joining KPIT Technologies.
Following publication of the article, I was invited by the Chief Technology Officer to join CREST (Center for Research in Engineering, Science and Technology), the company's corporate research and innovation division.
During my time in CREST I participated in several applied engineering and innovation initiatives focused on practical problem solving, prototype development and energy optimisation.
I independently led the development of a prototype aimed at reducing desktop PC energy consumption through a combination of hardware and software innovations.
One of my innovation proposals was selected among the top entries and presented to senior management as a business case.
Regular contributor to internal innovation forums, proposing technical and business improvement ideas.
Guided an organisation-sponsored engineering student project focused on drone development.
Contributed to a research initiative exploring hydrogen generation from water for automotive applications, including successful demonstration on a two-wheeler.
Innovation continues today through the design and development of independent Windows desktop software products covering productivity, file management, synchronisation, image authentication and digital utilities.
Each product is developed from concept through design, implementation, testing, documentation and release, combining business understanding with practical software engineering.
Today my innovation activities combine software development, Artificial Intelligence, business consulting and engineering concepts.
AI has become an important productivity tool for research, documentation and idea exploration, while structured thinking, experimentation and practical validation continue to guide the way I approach innovation.
Whether developing software, analysing business processes or exploring new engineering ideas, my objective remains the same to create practical solutions that solve real problems and deliver measurable value.
